ORIGINS AND ETYMOLOGY
Astro-English: in Astronese, the noun stellancy is based on the adjective stellanic denoting “the astronomical world” which is itself based on the noun stellar denoting “stars”; with the addition of the suffix -cy which denotes a state of being, stellancy means “a state of being among the stars” which transfers to an Astronist context to mean proximity to the astronomical world.
